Thursday, March 3, 2005 -  Main Street Chimney Fire

On Thursday morning, March 3,  North and South Coventry were dispatched to the scene of a possible chimney fire.  Due to the difficulty of accessing this roof, Car 111 immediately called for mutual aid from the University of Connecticut Fire Department.  They dispatched Engine 122 pictured here to safely access the roof.  The fire was quickly extinguished with no extension to the rest of the structure.  Thanks to the crew of Engine 122 and all members on scene for a job well done!
