This summer some one had the bright idea to have a joint
picnic with both fire departments in town. Now fire department legend
has it that a long long time ago back when dinosaurs roamed the earth our two
departments used to have picnics together. So it was decided that both
departments would have a picnic. As it turned out many members from both
departments came out to enjoy a rather warm but enjoyable day. The food
seemed endless and the Hodgkins were very gracious hosts. Although there
were no major incidents there was one report involving flying chief officer??
